"This product works really well. It creates a SPAM folder in Outlook and directs spam into this folder that you have to empty out every so often. I installed this onto our client systems who had requested us to help with incoming spam and they haven't had a single complaint since... That's also when I convinced them to stop using MS Outlook Express (Archaic!) and get up to date with MS Outlook. The only thing you have to look out for is the mail you NEED in the spam folder. At Arovax, we respect your privacy. We will not sell, share, or rent any data collected on our site to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.
Personal Information
Arovax collects basic personal information when you fill out the contact forms or subscribe to our newsletter. This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest or reply to a query. Such personal information is stored on Arovax computers and is accessed by authorized personnel only. If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for the e-mail address only; no other information is required.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive for an extended period of time. We use cookies to perform two functions. First, cookies allow you to use the shopping cart on our Web site. Second, cookies allow us to estimate the efficiency of our advertisement campaigns and gather statistical information. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information.
Orders
When ordering a product from us, the purchaser's name, e-mail address, mailing address, credit card number, and expiration date are encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layers) and passed through to the credit card processing company. This is necessary for processing and fulfilling orders and providing notification of the order status. If you don't wish to disclose your credit card number, feel free to order by mail using a check. You can also pay by international wire transfer, in which case we will know only the account holder name and the e-mail address to which we should e-mail the registration codes.
Software
The software distributed on our site doesn't collect any personal information or send any information to our servers. Any outbound network connections made by our software are made for the sole purpose of performing documented tasks, such as contacting your DNS servers for resolving hostnames or Whois databases for obtaining necessary records. We don't and never will distribute spyware. We encourage you to download our software directly from our site to avoid potential security risks, such as downloading infected software.
Tell-A-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask the user for their name and the friend's e-mail address. We will automatically send the friend a one-time e-mail inviting them to visit the site. The friend's e-mail address is used for the sole purpose of sending this one-time e-mail, and is stored in the log files to prevent abuse of this service. The log files are deleted on a monthly basis.
Server Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users' movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. The log files are deleted on a monthly basis.
